

Gordon Leo Elieff Lansing Gordon Leo Elieff stepped into glory at age 83. His father George, his mother Amelia and his sister Patricia precede him in death. He is survived by his wife Marie; his eight children, Christine (Mike) Lawless, Michelle (Vince) Elie, Mary (Jeff) Day, David (Susann) Elieff, John (Kerry) Elieff, Paul (Tracy) Elieff, Joseph (Mary Jo) Elieff, and Steven (Rebecca) Elieff, four nieces and 23 grand children. He served honorably in the U.S. Army in WWII earning a purple heart; he was an entrepreneur, business owner, real estate developer and salesman extraordinaire. He enjoyed life and had a delightful sense of humor. He loved golfing, hunting & fishing, with his boys & life long friend Bruce Seegraves. He led the Holy Cross Prayer group helping thousands come to meaningful relationship with Christ and was as a faithful member of Mount Hope Church. His was irresistibly magnetic and used his gift of influence to make thousands of friends, and point many to Jesus. The family will receive friends from 2-4, 6-8 P.M. Sunday in the Tiffany Funeral Home 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing. Services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, September 14, Mount Hope Church, 202 S. Creyts Road in Lansing, with his son, Pastor John T. Elieff officiating. Viewing will be from 10 to 11 A.M. Monday at church. Interment Delta Center Cemetery with military honors by the Edwin J. Leyanna V.F.W. Post #671 of DeWitt. The family holds deep appreciation for the extraordinary staff of Eaton Community Hospice and desire all donations go to the same in lieu of flowers.
