Guillermo (Willy) Del Castillo went to be with the Lord on November 26, 2014 at the age of 78, surrounded by his family. He was born on April 22, 1936 in Habana, Cuba. In 1969, Willy and his family immigrated to the U.S. After a brief stint in New York City, he moved to the Lansing area where he raised his four children with his wife of 52 years - Modesta (Mody). Willy was a retiree of Oldsmobile where he worked as a line worker and machine operator. He was later employed by Waverly Schools, where he worked as a custodian. He was a member of First Assembly of God in East Lansing. Heaven just got a little louder. Willie loved life - his smile, sense of humor, and pranks will be greatly missed. He took great pride in caring and providing for his family.
Willy is survived by his loving wife, Mody; children Monica Del Castillo, Guillermo (Linnae) Del Castillo, Agnes (Dorin) Candea, Wendy (Eric) Chaplick; and grand children; Arthur, Sebastian, Katie, Jessica, Gabriel, Jayna, and Juston.
