I was Haiden's uncle, though perhaps I don't deserve the title. When I knew them, they were small. The situation was different back then, a lot of scary things were going on that I never really fully recovered from. But every now and then, I'd check in on Haiden via social media, and his uncle, my younger brother River/Toby. I watched from far away as Haiden discovered who they were, and I was proud of them for the person they became. Countless times I wanted to reach out to them and tell them that, but I was afraid of bringing back a chapter of my life that I find painful. Because of my fear, it was too late. Haiden was a strong, intelligent, and bold person. I wish I had told them that. I suppose it's true that the brightest flames burn the quickest.

Still can't believe you're gone. One of the most bizarre feelings I got, but what can I say or do, except to say one thing, rest easy friend, you always deserved to rest, I would've hoped it was any other way.

Haiden and I met while working together at McDonald’s in 2019, and from one conversation we knew we were best friends. Haiden was with me through a lot of life events and was my rock in times of need, and I to him. We would always dedicate one day every week to seeing each other and having fun, such as shopping or going to a new restaurant. Any of my family he met deemed him an honorary family member and welcomed him with open arms. He was always so supportive to my husband AJ and I, and helped make our wedding in July as stress free and fun as possible. He was a light in any room he walked into, and made conversation wherever he went. When I went to visit him in the hospital, he told me he had already made friends with 4 of the ICU nurses and had them on Facebook, and that cemented to me how amazing of a person he was even in sickness. I’m going to miss that light in my life, and the amazing best friend that he was.

My daughter worked with Haiden, and they became fast friends...her best friend. And then I had the pleasure of being introduced to him. Haiden was one of the most loving and caring individuals I have ever met.  Always eager to help, he was the MVP at my daughter's wedding doing all of the girl's makeup, among other things. He was so extremely talented! There was always good conversation and laughs to be had when I would drive them to Taco Bell and other various places. I wish we could do that again. We will miss you so much, Haiden. Thank you for being our friend and for being you. You have left a print on all of our hearts. One that we are all grateful for. Love you so much! Until we meet again...

Haiden, I met you at McDonalds where you taught me how to work quite literally everything, I cherished every memory I had with you, and think about the words and messages you would say and text to me daily. I keep rereading them because of how much you touched my heart and soul. I love you always and forever and miss you endlessly. Rest easy. 💓

Haiden was a sweet soul.  A kind hearted young man .He will be missed by every one who met him. My deepest condolences for his family and dear friends. May God get you through this difficult time.
