Harriet Fay Hall

Harriet Fay Hall, 84, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 16, 2020. She was born to Viola and Lyman Rule in Manistee, Michigan on May 18, 1936, one day shy of her older sister Darlene's first birthday. Family was very important to Harriet: thanks to her sister Mary, she met her husband Ronald on a blind date, and her best friend for life was her sister Lynda.

Harriet loved to play BINGO and visit the casinos, especially Soaring Eagle. She loved to shop for whatever was out there, and she generally just liked to be out and about with her family and friends. She was made to be a grandma, and her grandchildren treasure the picnics, outings, movie marathons, and downtime spent with their beloved grandma and grandpa.

She is now reunited with her dear husband of 50 years, Ronald Hall; her parents; and her brothers, Charles, George, and Lyman Jr.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Sheila Owens; her grandchildren, Ashley (AJ) Hotwanger, C. Michael (Vicky) Mennare, Caitlyn (Chris) Fjeld, and Tristian Owens; her great-grandchildren, Charles Wright and Violet Hotwanger; her sisters, Darlene, Mary, and Lynda; and her many nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 21, 2020 from 2pm to 4pm at Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw St. in Lansing. Interment will follow on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 10am at Chapel Hill Memory Gardens in Lansing.
