Helen I Jones, age 95, of Lansing, Michigan passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024. She was born on April 20, 1928 in Lansing, Michigan to Clarence and Razella (Rattray) Jones. She worked for the State of Michigan for over 40 years. Helen enjoyed traveling and playing card games with her family.
Helen is survived by her brothers, Donald Jones of Oregon and David (June) Jones of Lansing; 12 nieces and nephews, and numerous great nieces and nephews. Helen was preceded in death by her life partner, Suzanne Hodges; parents; 2 brothers, and a nephew.
In accordance with Helen’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation for Helen will be held Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Gorsline Runciman Tiffany Chapel, 3232 W.
Saginaw St., Lansing, Michigan 48917, with a memorial visitation will be a memorial service following at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to your favorite charity in Helen’s name.
