

Born August 6, 1937 in Harbor Springs, Michigan to Melvin and Catherine Howse, passed away December 22, 2012 at the age of 75. Helen was the Employment Program Director for the Ingham County Friend of the Court. She loved spending time with her family, photography, antiquing and traveling. Helen was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Ellen Worden, brother, Melvin F. Howse; son, Scott William Marsh and grandson, Brandon Douglas Marsh. She is survived by her husband, Gerry Kropp; sons, William Greg (Yvonne) Marsh and Steven Michael (Patricia) Marsh; daughter, April Denise Wellman; step-daughters, Delia and Kathy; grandchildren, Katie, Marcie, Aaron, Lindsey, Holly, Jennifer, Ronnie, Brent, and A.J; several great grandchildren; special nieces and nephews, Mike, Toni and Clarissa; brothers, Donald (Kaylynn) and Jerry (Linda) Howse; sisters, Doreen Bouck and Carol (Donald) Bommer and a special uncle, George Hegnig. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 28, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent Home for Children, Inc., 2800 W.
