Imogene loved to read, bake, and spend time in the garden. She was very knowledgeable in the art of sewing, and went on to teach her crafts to her daughters, and grandchildren. She would read whatever she could get her hands on. You couldn't leave a book laying around, because she would borrow it. Imogene was very knowledgeable of words, and her family's human spell-check, before there was spell-check. Imogene enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles, she favored the 500 and 1000 piece jigsaw puzzles. Most of all, she loved bragging about her grandchildren, and spending time with them. She was very proud of all of them.

January 13, 2019

We spent every Christmas with Aunt Imogene and her family growing up. She cooked some of the best food I’ve ever tasted. I always looked forward to the goodie box that only lasted about a week after! I loved the balcony in her house. I watched Sue and Julie show me how to make homemade bows. I would look down as a child into her living room and remember things moving at a slower pace. Everyone really seemed to enjoy the moment and these are some of my fondest memories.
