Ione Williams

Ione C. Williams was born June 14, 1910 in Lansing, the daughter of Hugh and Clara Reed, she passed away peacefully on January 28, 2013. Ione was preceded in death by her parents; husband John; son Richard; great-granddaughter Jamie; great-great grandson Keeghan; four sisters and three brothers. Surviving to cherish her memory are her children Robert (Doris) Williams, Pat (Larry) Knuth, daughter-in-law, Marilyn Williams, Russell (Donna) Williams, Connie (Carlon) Tharp, Shirley (Gale) Coy; 19 grandchildren; 48 great grandchildren; 22 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 1st at 12:00 PM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., in Lansing with the interment following at Mt Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 31st from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 PM and 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
