Irene Dare Mitchell

Irene was born May 2, 1944 to George and Ethel Olson in Muskegon, MI. Irene met her husband, Bruce at a singles dance and were married in Bamberg, Germany on March 5, 1965. Irene enjoyed downhill skiing, camping, watching MSU basketball and football games, spending time with family and most of all water color painting, a very amazing talent of hers.

Irene is survived by her husband Bruce of 56 years; daughters, Kimberly (Rich) of Lansing, Kristin (Todd) of Lansing, and son, Kevin (Janell) of Falmouth. Also 5 grandsons, Nicholas, Kristofer, Zane, Austin (aka Oz), and Wilder and one granddaughter, Alanah.

The family is asking to make donations to the American Cancer Society or Sparrow Foundation Hospice.

A Celebration of Life will be held after the graveside service at Tiffany Funeral Home Saturday. Visitation will be held Friday, August 13, 2021, 6 - 8 pm.
