Born October 13, 1917 in Agar, S.D., the daughter of the late Arthur and Gladys Todd, passed from this life on June 22, 2013 at the age of 95. She married Paul H. White on September 21, 1945 in Onida S.D. and they moved to Lansing, MI in 1956 where she resided at the time of her death. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul; son, Robert; brothers, Elvin and Richard Todd; sisters, Marion Mayes, Doris Robinson, and Ethel Ramler;. Surviving to cherish her memory are her son, Gary of Dimondale, MI; sister, Jeanne McClure of Roby, TX. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 27th at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 26th from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. According to Irene’s wishes, in lieu of flowers she asks that you be thoughtful of a friend.
