James Keith Genson

James K. Genson, age 77, went to be with the Lord and his son Joel Keith and his parents, Marion & Ralph Chaffee and Justin Genson on November 29, 2014. James was born on March 3, 1937 in Lansing, MI; He graduated from Lansing Eastern High School. He retired from Oldsmobile after being employed for 30 years. He is survived by his loving wife Geraldine of 33 years, his children Janelle Gilson, Julie, John (Kathy), Joel (Missy) Genson; 3 step-children Allen (Debbie) Burnham, Ronda (Rob) Kowtko, Alena (Jeff) Dollarhite and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; one sister Connie Morales; one brother Jr. Genson. While raising his children, he enjoyed traveling and camping. In later years, he enjoyed attending the semi-truck show in St. Ignace, MI, toy shows and going to the casino in Mt Pleasant, MI. Visitation and funeral services will be held at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 900 E. Michigan Ave, Lansing, MI. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 3, 2014, 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to funeral services at noon on Thursday, December 4, 2014 with Rev. Bo Rin Cho officiating.
