James LeRoy Hart

Age 77, our loving husband, dad, grandpa, and great-grandpa passed away April 7, 2016 at his home. Born June 18, 1938 in Midland, MI. James was a U.S. Navy Veteran, and retired from Pullman Standard of Chicago, Il after 30 years of service.

Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Rebecca A. Hart; 2 daughters, Jamie M. (David) Bradbury, and Jacqueline R. (Douglas) Moore; 9 grandchildren, Richard Casey, Courtney, Carleybeth, Marymargaret, Daniel, Mathewdavid, Justin, Brandon, and McKenna; 2 great-granddaughters, Khloe, and Athena; sister, Patricia Taylor of Virginia; and many other family members and friends. James was preceded in death by his parents, LeRoy & Teresa Hart, and brother William.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Monday with the memorial service at 11:00 A.M. Monday, April 11, 2016, in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing. Military Honors will be provided by Morley Oates V.F.W. Post #701. Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association in memory of James.
