Today, I arrived at Jim's house and spoke to his neighbor and leaned what happed. Jim and I grew up swimming from jr high through high school. I'll always remember those times skiing until 3-4 a.m. during the midnight ski, at Brighton, during those weekends when there was nothing to do. People like myself, Chuck Clements and others would fill a flask and have fun. Or loading his pickup truck to do some camping up in the Wolverine area, or 4-wheeling at Silver Lake. There were many evenings when we'd get together to play cards with friends. 

I'm bless to have known him. And thankful to be able to call him a friend. God bless and my sympanthy's too all.

I would like to express my sincere condolences at the loss of your dear loved one. Please be assured that your tears are not unnoticed by the Creator of life. Although your deep pain will not easily disappear, praying to God will bring comfort to you as you grieve. The Bible tells us that God is "healing the broken-hearted ones and is binding up their painful spot (Psalm 147:3). May the "Father of tender mercies" and the "God of all comfort" strengthen your faith and give you courage to face the days ahead (2 Corinthians 1:3). My sincere condolences to the family.

Only met you the once Jim but thanks for a mighty fine burrito and thanks for being such a good neighbour to Tania and Michael.

Jim was a great guy, with a good heart. We had enjoyed working together at Delphi years ago. Trips up north to go snowmobiling and fishing were always a great time. Jim was a lot of fun to be around and will be greatly missed.

have no ideas, really, what to say... jim as ALWAYS jim and i guess i thought that would ALWAYS be.. am completely stunned, and WILL BE for quite some time.. is SURELY going to be missed...

Leeana and I are truly saddened to hear of Jims passing. We had the pleasure of meeting Jim when we were in Lansing attending the wedding of Tania and Michael. From the outset it was clear that Jim was a great friend to Tania and Michael and very supportive; welcoming and befriending us all during our stay. He'll be truly missed and our thoughts go out to his family and friends at this sad time.

I worked with Jim for almost 12 years. We shared a common love of the Spartan basketball team, stories of times spent up north, many stories about his family and the good times they had together. I will miss him.

I was so sorry to hear of Jims passing,we all lost a good man and a good friend too early. I will always be thankful to Jim and his family for all the great times at spring fishing trips and snowmobiling at the beautiful cabin at houghton lake. He was a lot of fun on quad riding trips or watching Redwing games or just hanging out. Jim was a good man and I know there are a lot of us out there that will surely miss him and his laugh. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this difficult time. God bless all of you.

Terri, My deepest condolences to you and your family. I know how difficult these next few days will be, but let your memories bring you comfort and strength.

We are shocked to hear the sad news of Jims passing. We had only known Jim for a short time when we came from England to visit our niece Tania and her husband Michael. Jim welcomed us into his home and it is the kindness he showed us, we will never forget.

We both had the pleasure of working with Jim for a couple of years. He was a great Man with a big heart.He will be deeply missed.Rest In Peace Jim

Jim will be truly missed. He was a good neighbor and friend. May your cherished memories of Jim bring you comfort and knowing that others share in your loss help you through this difficult time.

I was very saddened to hear about Jim. He was one of the kindest people I ever knew. I will miss him very much. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family during this very difficult time.

My prayers are with the family and friends of Jims as you go through this loss.Jim's humour will live on through the many memories of all the family/friends who's life he had touched.He will always hold a special place in my heart.

I've worked with Jim for 10 years, Shortly after I got to know Jim, I began going camping on a regular basis, one day Jim asked me if I had any plans for Memorial weekend. I told him I was going camping in the U.P., he looked at me, then hung his head and with a very sad expression he said to me ? didn?t you hear, their expecting a massive blizzard over the holiday weekend?? I said ? NO !!! man, what am I going to do?? he just looked at me for a second, then he started to grin, I said ?Jim ! are you yanking my chain?? He said, continuing to grin, ?you better just drive careful in that weather?, then he walked away laughing. 

Every summer after that, no matter where I was going to be camping, it was either going to be terrible weather , huge swarms of biting black flies, or mosquitoes, one year there were swarms of locust over Marquette Michigan, right when I was going to be there. I really enjoyed conversations with Jim, and will miss him.

I was very sad to hear of Jim's passing. We worked together very closely for 16 plus years at Delphi. I will miss our trips to Detroit to watch a Tiger game, him calling me "Big Guy" and most of all that full belly laugh of his (you know the one). I am proud to have called Jim my friend and I will miss him deeply.

Jim was a brilliant friend and neighbor ,we will both miss him very much.

I was fortunate enough to work with Jim for a couple of years. He was an excellent person. Though I had not seen him in quite a while, I often thought of him. 
I am grateful that he has gone on to a new adventure, he was ready. He will truly be missed.

I will always remeber the great times we had at Houghton Lake waterskiing. And all of the fun trips we had to Florida. He will be greatly missed but the memories will always live on. My heart goes out to Bob and Joanne and Terri and Mike.

Hadn't seen Jim in a long time. It is a shame we didn't keep in closer touch. I offer my condolances and wish every one the best.
