Janice Fortino

of Lansing, MichiganBorn October 4, 1955 in Lansing, Michigan passed away September 5, 2007 at the age of 51, after a long illness. Janice was the daughter of Alfred Joseph and Margaret Mary (Maher) Fortino. Janice always had a smiling face and enjoyed being with her family very much. Anyone who met her loved her. Preceded in death by her father, Alfred; grandparents, James and Mary Maher, Sr. and Tony and Mary Fortino. Surviving are her mother, Margaret Fortino; sisters, Mary Jo (Rick) Johnson, Teresa Fortino, Diane Pittman, Patricia Royston; brothers, Tony (Marianne) Fortino, Michael Fortino and Vincent Fortino; nieces, Erin (Brad) Wood, Kellie Pittman, Olivia Fortino; nephews, Nicholas Royston Hoard, and Joseph Fortino. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff and friends at Ingham County Medical Care Facility and Hospice House of Mid-Michigan for all of their loving care. Visitation is 6-8PM Friday, September 7, 2007 with a 7PM Rosary at Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 West Saginaw Hwy, Lansing 48917. Private Family Graveside Services will be Saturday, September 8, 2007 at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice House of Mid-Michigan, 1210 W. Saginaw Hwy, Lansing 48915 in memory of Janice.
