Jason Scott "Jay" McDaniel, born May 18, 1972 at Lansing General to Tommie L. and Frances L. (Chapel) McDaniel, was called home December 3rd. Jay was a loving caregiver of his grandma, Clara McDaniel. Jay will be remembered by all those who loved him for his giving spirit, gentle nature, love for family gatherings, games of chess and bike racing. He will be missed by many, especially his parents, children; Jason Villarreal, Jesus, Chelsea and Danielle McDaniel, his sister Katherine (Kelley) Carr, nieces Ryen and Jayce, along with many family and friends. A celebration of life will be held at 1pm on Saturday January 6, 2018 at the Unity Spiritual Center of Lansing, 230 S. Holmes St.
