Jean M. Dyer, age 84, a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother passed away Monday, April 27, 2015. Jean was born November 16, 1930 to Stanley and Neoma Wright. She loved to travel, was an avid gardener and a bowler, but family was most important to her.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband, LaVergne Dyer. She is survived by her beloved children, Dianne (David) Berry, Denise (Daniel) Hack, David Dyer; grandchildren, Matthew (Chris Boyster), Steven and Kimberly Berry, and Danielle Hack; great grandchild, Zander Berry; brothers, Jerry (Margie) Wright, Jim (June) Wright; sister, Connie (Brad) Oliver; many nieces and nephews; and beloved dog George.

Graveside Services will take place at 2:30 p.m. Friday, May 1, 2015 at Deepdale Memorial Gardens, Lansing. Family will receive friends for visitation from 6-8 p.m. Thursday and from 1-2 p.m. Friday at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 East Michigan Ave, Lansing, MI 48912. Contributions may be made in Jean’s name to the Capital Area Humane Society, 7095 W. Grand River Ave., Lansing, Michigan 48906.
