Jean Farnsworth

Elizabeth Jean Farnsworth, age 92, of Wyoming, Michigan fell asleep peacefully on Tuesday, October 10, 2023. Elizabeth was born on April 20th 1931 in Grand Ledge, Michigan to Florence Ann McKay and Kyle Eveleth.

Jean was married to Mike Farnsworth for 52 years. She was employed by Lansing Public Schools Cafeterias beginning in 1978, and retired in 1991. She lived in Lansing for 65 years. She loved her family dearly, and loved baking, gardening, and fishing.

She is survived by her children Michael Scott Farnsworth, Thomas Gregg Farnsworth deceased (Shirley), Joseph (Dori) J. Farnsworth, and Amy (Aaron) Marie Sluka, her loving grandchildren Kelly (Matt) Thomas, Joshua (Jacquelyn) Farnsworth, Danielle (Dan) Williams, Kim (Jeff) Wolfe, Ashley ( Robert) Murphey, Dustin (Erika) Farnsworth, Ben Smallegan, Elizabeth Farnsworth, Becky (Alinx) St. Louis, and 21 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by spouse Mike Farnsworth, son Thomas Farnsworth, parents Florence Ann McKay and Kyle Eveleth, brothers Bill, Erwin, Warren, Jim, and Tom, and sisters Barbara, Leah, and Florence Ann.

Visitation for Jean will be held from 4-6pm on Sunday, October 15, 2023 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes Lansing Chapel. A funeral service will follow visitation beginning at 6pm.
