Jean J. Polmounter, 90, of Perry, Michigan, passed away October 15, 2014. She was born on August 10, 1924 in Millington, Michigan to the late George and Laureatta (Cimmery) Hill, and she graduated from Flint Northern High School. On August 6, 1944, Jean married the love of her life, Joseph Polmounter. She worked as a nurse aid and a care-giver for home health care. She also worked in dress shops and donut shops. Jean’s true calling, however, was being a pastor’s wife and sharing in his ministry.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph. Surviving to cherish her memory are her sons, Jerry (Lynette) Polmounter of Perry and Tom (Linda) Polmounter of Buchanan; grandchildren, Tricia (Ben) Pollok, Kirstyn (Bill) Bahr, Brian (Krista) Polmounter, and Kyle (Alicia) Polmounter; and great-grandchildren, Mallorie, Alaina, Jackson, Grant, and Ethan.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 20, 2014 at Perry Church of the Nazarene, 12400 Ruppert Rd., Perry, MI 48872. The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.
