Jeanette D. Lund

She is survived by her three children. Craig (Maril) Dunlap, Cindy Hurth, and Rocky Parks. She has seven grandchildren. Brian (Shannon) Dunlap, Joe (Shannon) Dunlap, Kellan Dunlap, Tom Hurth, Clifford (Amy) Hurth, Tyler Parks and Troy Parks. Jeanette also has seven great grandchildren. Liam, Weston, and Everett Dunlap. Isabella, Collin, Ellie Hurth and Elliot Parks. She also has many nieces and nephews who she dearly loved.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Everett and Mabel Fineout and four siblings, Norm Fineout and Bobby Fineout, Eleanor (Gordan) Culham and Margie (Max) Lawrence.

Jeanette accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior in December of 2018. She was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church. Her pastor Glenn Ray is present today and will provide her Eulogy. Jeanette was baptized on October 6, 2019. Her eternal soul certainly is in Heaven with her Heavenly Father Jesus Christ!

Jeanette loved spending time at her camper at Silver Lake. She loved the water, sun and many vacations to Tennessee, Florida, and Jamaica, which were fondly remembered. Many days you could find her at the Lansing Mall where she would often walk four miles per day.

Jeanette lived most of her life in Lansing, Michigan. She graduated from Sexton High School in Lansing, Michigan in 1952. Jeanette worked at a job she loved at Michigan State Library and retired after 19 years of service. She was a breast Cancer survivor. She was a proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous where she made many friends. She was well supported and offered meaningful support to others. Jeanette loved the Big Band music and the Blues. Nat King Cole was one of her favorite musicians.

The family would like to thank the Grand Haven Assisted Living Staff who were so caring and kind. Also, a thank you to Corso Care Hospice staff who were very supportive to Jeanette and her family during her final days.
