Jeanne Smith

Our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother went home to our Lord on June 28, 2010. Born April 3, 1928 in Clinton County, MI. Jeanne retired from the State of Michigan Health Department after 25 years of service. She was a charter member of St. Gerard Catholic Church. She was a member of Portland V.F.W. auxiliary.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband, Norman P. Smith; sister, Zita Hatch; brother, Gerald Lawens.

Surviving are her 5 children, Janice (Darold) English, Karen Shively, Robert (Linda) Smith, Linda (Jim) Williams, and Debbie (Tim) Mulvaney; 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday with a 7:00 P.M. Rosary service in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing.

Funeral Liturgy is 11:30 A.M. Thursday, July 1, at St. Gerard Catholic Church, 4437 W. Willow, Lansing. Viewing will be one hour prior to mass at church.

Rite of committal St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
