Jeffery John Morse

Jeffery John Morse of DeWitt, Michigan passed away Saturday, December 17, 2016 at his home with his wife and family by his side. He was born February 8, 1963 in Lansing, Michigan, the eighth child of the late Don and Irene Morse. Jeff was the owner and operator of J & M Hauling and April’s Antiques in Lansing, Michigan for more than 30 years. Jeff was a loving husband and father, and very dedicated to family and friends. Jeff was a mentor to countless individuals, requiring only a willingness to listen and learn.

Jeff is survived by his wife of 36 years, April, along with his children; Lora and Brian Friedli and Tom Morse; one grandson Lincoln Friedli; five siblings Joan Lehman Hubble, Robin Cook, Kim McCellan, Douglas Morse, and Denise Morse as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents Don and Irene Morse; brother Michael Morse; sisters Sue Pulver, Linda Doerr and Kate Heitamakie; nephews Dustin and Nathan McCellan; nieces Amber and Delila Morse.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 am Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 East Michigan Ave, Lansing, MI. Burial will follow at Wacousta Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 6:00 – 8:00 pm Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donation will be accepted through the funeral home.
