Jeffrey Christopher Gould

Jeff was born on December 4, 1943 to Robert and Jeanne(Cincebeaux) Gould in Detroit, Michigan. After graduating from Hastings High School in 1961, he went on to serve in the United States Army, stationed in Japan as a teletype equipment repairman.

After the Army, he was employed by Michigan Bell and AT&T as a telecommunications specialist, he retired in 2002 and went on to work as a contractor for Lucent Technologies, Avaya, Gee Communications and SPS. Officially retiring in 2010 with 49 years of service in the communications industry. In 1977, he met Debra Gould, and they wed in 1980, going on to have three children, Doris, Jeffrey Jr., and Rose.

Jeff's family meant more to him than anything else in the world, particularly his grandchildren. Jeff also enjoyed woodworking, technology, traveling, oldies music, enjoying his woods, and could often be found golfing when he wasn’t at home. He held many records at local golf courses at one time. One of Jeff’s biggest golf accomplishments was playing at St. Andrews in Scotland with his father.

Jeff was predeceased in death by his mother and father. He is survived by wife Debra, two daughters Doris(Brad) Bancroft and Rose Gould(Bret Radlicki); one son Jeffrey Gould Jr.(Raven Leazier).; four grandchildren, Jackson and Hailey Bancroft, Killian Gould and a baby grandchild on the way; two brothers Roger and Curt Gould. Additionally, the family would like to thank the staff of Robinwood Landing Alzheimer's Special Care Center of Laning, Michigan for all of the exceptional care Jeff received.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life remembering Jeff will be held at his house when COVID restrictions have been lifted in the summer of 2021. The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, DeWitt Chapel.
