Jennifer Ann Matson of Lansing Michigan passed away on September 29th 2026 at the age of 42 years old. She was born on December 9th 1983 in Jacksonville Texas where she grew up in Mixon Texas. She graduated from Troup High in Troup Texas. Also, she worked as a volunteer for Clinton Eaton and Ingham Counties Community Mental Health Advocacy Board a while ago. She was actively involved in Lansing Community College courses. Jennifer was currently attending college to become both a Creative Writer and History Major. She is survived by her husband, Adam Matson, family, and close friends.
Jennifer was and is a good soul. She believed wholeheartedly in her visions and dreams for the future. Jennifer loved her family and friends so much! Even though at times, it may seem like she didn’t. She was a good person who cherished those people who cherished her. Jennifer had times where she had ups and downs with life experiences. However, she would bounce back and make a better difference for herself and those around her in the end!
Furthermore, Jennifer would want everyone to know that you cannot go through life without God’s help. Also, she would always say, “If you’ve got a dream, chase it! Because a dream won’t chase you back!”
(That was the famous lyrics from Cody Johnson’s song, Til You Can’t).
In the end, the family would like to thank all the friends and Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in her final days. Thank you all and God Bless!
