Joan Rita Morgan

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Joan Morgan, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Joan passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loved ones, on March 12, 2025 at the age of 87 in Lansing, Michigan.

Joan was born on March 31, 1937, in Galway, Ireland. She came to the United States at the young age of 14, with her older sister, Myra. Always a devoted wife, mother, and grandma, Joan was known for her kindness, her love of children and animals, a fun loving, gentle spirit, and her adventurous, playful nature.

Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Morgan, Sr. and her son Louis Morgan, Jr. She is survived by her sons, Bruce Morgan, Curtis Morgan, and Mark Morgan; her daughters, Rita Rohrer, Christine Jajko, and Kelly Farhat; her grandsons, Douglas Rohrer (Shelby Rohrer), Curtis Rohrer; her granddaughters, Jasmine Jajko, Jolie Jajko; and many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her memory lives on in the hearts of all that knew and loved her. A private funeral service was held at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery on March 19, 2025.
