Joan passed away on May 6, 2015. She was born on April 19, 1938 to Mr. and Mrs. James (Angeline) Vasilion in Chicago, IL who preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Gene Comer; 3 sons, Robert (Margaret) Taylor, David (Kathy) Taylor, and Tony (Eudena) Taylor; 2 daughters, Tina (Gil) Knickerbocker, and Holly Kosht (Bill); 14 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and 3 brothers, Rick Vasilion (Denise), Tom (Melanie) Vasilion, and Jim (Diane) Vasilion. Joan was a lifelong member of Maranatha Baptist Church in Lansing. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Hospice House of Mid-Michigan through the funeral home.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing with Pastor Glen Ray, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be Friday 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
