Joel is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Alvin Yerke and Violet Dunn and paternal grandparents, Joseph and Alice Campbell.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Joseph and JoAnne (Yerke) Campbell of Lilburn, GA; siblings, Ervin (Tammie) Campbell of St. Johns, Michigan and Asiya (Moinuddin) Siddiqui of Lilburn, Georgia; nephews, Eliazar, Alejandro, Youssef, and Raihan; nieces, Soraiya and Savannah; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Joel was known for being young at heart and sharing his happiness. He maintained a can-do attitude even in difficult times. An animal lover, Joel enjoyed cats and dogs the best. He could often be found playing video games, especially from the Call of Duty series, which he collected. He was surrounded by a loving family.
