So very sorry for your loss.  The last time I saw your dad was at my dads farm in Spring Arbor.  Some of his mannerisms reminded me so much of Aunt Leola and Grandpa Frank, I almost cried.  I don’t think my dad knew he passed away or he would have have come to the funeral.

Always had fun bowling against John in  our Good Fellowship League at Royal Scott plus running into him and his wife at Olga's Restaurant, Prayers for the family.

So sorry for your loss. John worked on a few cars of mine from his house. He was a great guy, I adopted him as a grandpa! The smile and hug he gave everytime he saw me made my day!

So sorry to hear about John’s passing. I love cars and met John at Capital City Frame back  in the ‘70’s when he had the only real frame shop in town and  he and the guys could fix a hard hit car that other dealerships or body shops gave up on . And he was honest in everything he did and in the frame repair world , he shared his knowledge with others to raise the bar for everyone. I had the highest respect for him , his employees who I still see at dealerships from time to time , and his business that he grew . If I remember right, my employer at the time , Allstate Insurance, arranged to have new adjusters  spend a few days at his shop for hands on training that you can’t get in a textbook.  John was so proud of his beautiful Ford Victoria  and my husband Harold had a Model A Ford Pick Up and both being Ford guys… don’t let me interrupt their joy ! John is a one of a kind guy . So sorry Darlene. I will always remember him for his smile and gentle spirit.

Our loss but Heaven's gain!  We always had John when our car needed help.  John was the BEST at being a friend,  with always a smile, and best mechanic we know.  Cannot wait to meet him in the Rapture!  We cry for our loss.  May the Lord bless and always be close to Darlene and his family.  Love from the Britts

My memories will always include seeing him at church , so handsome in his bright red sweater, smiling,  so friendly with a hug and a handshake. A wonderful Christian man. He will surely be missed by so many. Rest in peace John. Prayers of comfort to Darlene and the rest of the family.

I'm so sorry to hear of John's passing.  I see his smiling picture and I don't want this to be true.  I always thought of him as such a good friend.  I was so thankful for his friendship and helpfulness to Hank and Jan when they were in need.  He was a good, kind person and will truly be missed, but we know he is with his Lord now.

I only knew John in his latter years when he had his shop at his home. He helped me get a van to be used as a missionary vehicle at the church in tiptop shape. John was a great guy. He always had time for me.   He enjoyed sharing  some stories while fixing some thing in his shop. I loved his massive hands. It seemed that he knew how to do everything.  He will be greatly missed!

This is a tough one.  First met John Williams when He was our 9th grade SS teacher at Inter City. His gentle and yet firm hand was so much appreciated  (now, yet maybe not so much then) I loved stopping to see him at Capitol City Frame. I still use techniques I learned while watching him bring life back to damaged cars.  He was a true Friend and Man of God. He stood with me all my life.  He was a craftsman of ultimate skill in the automotive arena. Always had a smile when I would see him. Hands as big as baseball mitts.  A  solid handshake that said he cared. He's talking to my Father Gust today. Bet that's a great reunion.  Miss You already Mr. Williams.
