Family and friends,

We gather here today to honor and remember my father. He was a complex man, and our relationship was not always easy. But despite the challenges, he was a significant part of my life, and his impact on me is undeniable.

Dad was a man of strong opinions and unwavering principles. He taught me the importance of standing up for my beliefs and never backing down from a challenge. I admired his determination and resilience, even when we disagreed.

One of the things I will always remember about Dad is his work ethic. He was resolute and hardworking, always striving to provide for our family. His commitment to his responsibilities was something I deeply respect and have tried to emulate in my own life.

While our relationship had difficulties, there were also moments of connection and understanding. I cherish the times when we could set aside our differences and enjoy each other's company. Those moments remind me that beneath the tough exterior, there was a man who cared deeply for his family.

As we say goodbye to Dad today, I remember the lessons he taught me and the strength he instilled in me. I will carry forward his legacy of determination and resilience, and I will strive to honor his memory by living my life with the same dedication and integrity that he showed.

Rest in peace, Dad. Though our journey together was not always smooth, I am grateful for the time we had and the person you helped me become.
 Although we cannot see or hear you, we know you are here because we can feel you in our hearts and memories.
Until we meet again you will never be far away for you are just a memory away and always in our hearts.
