

Johnny was a quiet individual, but his beautiful smile could light up a room. He had a knack for listening attentively, making others feel heard and understood. Although he didn't frequently engage in lengthy conversations, his genuine and bright smile spoke volumes.
Johnny had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and cherished spending time in nature. Whether it was hiking through scenic trails or simply enjoying the fresh air, he found solace and joy in the beauty of the natural world. Additionally, Johnny had a special fondness for dogs and held a special place in his heart for his own furry companion.
Johnny is survived by his siblings Rick (Leah) Salisbury, Patricia (Johnathan) Strong, James (Carla) Salisbury, Robert (Angela) Salisbury, JoAnne (Troy) Sixx, Jody Hayes, and Joshua Salisbury. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews whom he adored. Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Janice Salisbury.
Johnny attended Flint High School, where he laid the foundation for a lifetime of learning and personal growth.
Johnny's kind and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of his loved ones.
A graveside service for Johnny will be held Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Gunnisonville Cemetery, 2000 E Clark Rd, Lansing, MI 48906. Following the graveside service will be a celebration of life luncheon at 11:30 PM at DeWitt Community Center, 16101 Brook Road, DeWitt, MI.
