I am sorry to hear of Jose's passing. I had not seen him in many years I hung out with him and our high street  friends  when we were teenagers. RIP old friend

Although we didn't see each other often, I always enjoyed Joe's sense of humor.  He always brought a smile to my face when our families got together.  He also went out of his way to help mom and dad with things that needed fixing of building and they told me more than once how much they appreciated what he did for them.  There will now be an empty space at family gatherings.  He will be much missed.

I had'nt talked to you for years, up until the day before Fathers Day, I called when I found out you were sick,I wished I knew how to of gotten a hold of you sooner. Nervous at first, you soon made me feel at ease.

I sat with you on father's day in the hospital the 45 minutes we shared felt like a lifetime I will hold that time in my heart forever.
I would like to share a special monument with everyone back in I think 1975 uncle joe took a mob of us to see the movie "jaws" he picked us up at our grandma house we all packed in to the goffy wagon it was his big green subarban. I will never forget the this amazing evening the time at m78 drive in is one of the lifetime memories that are eched in my life that no one can take from me.
uncle pito you told me that you are proud of me for being a hard working dad that always provide for my family well were do you think I learned it from?  From you my mom dad and all of the hard working generation of Ruiz family members. Thank you for teaching me how to raise my family and how to be a hard worker just like you.
I miss you I love you and will be keeping our promise tell we meet again.

  You were the familiar face of Davenport Masonry that would help your fellow tradesmen(plumbers, electricians, carpenters, etc.) when we needed heavy lifting done. A true professional and skilled worker. But I didn't know you personally back then.
   When I started working at St. Vincent de Paul, I met a feisty redhead(who throws boxes at people)and you made one of your frequent visits. I immediately recognized you from our construction years together. That was the beginning of building a friendship together. I thank God for allowing our paths to cross again. I saw a buddy face the fight of his life head on, with his wife by his side 24/7. Tough times, but what a beautiful love story developing right before our very eyes! You will live on in our hearts, my friend. May you rest in peace.

My father -in law was like a father to me, He was always there when needed be.

He helped me fix my car and helped me cut my grass, He helped my kids to study so that they could pass.

He was funny and a prankster and would always smile, He would help me with my electrical work and go lay some tile.

Most of all he was always there when I wanted him to be, He was more of a dad to me that you could ever see.

I loved my father-in -law he was my very good friend, Even though I lost my key he would always let me in.

I think i was more of a son to him than a son in law, like an addition to the one's he already had, Farewell my friend and good buddy, I mean farewell my dad

Thank you Joe for teaching me so many things, my most cherished memory is our latest project rebuilding my 1975 Delta Eighty Eight convertible.  Even though Joe was sick for the past few months he was determined to finish putting this car together.  His eyes would light up every chance we got to work on that old car and he did it.  When we were all done he told me that the reason he did it was because he wanted to show me that an old man like him still had it, boy did he ever.  
I am going to miss you Joe but every time I am driving that car with the top down I will hear you telling me “just stay out of the way”, thank you for all of the good times we have shared over the past 15 years I will miss him.

Words cannot explain how much you mean to me nothing could ever compare or even ever be

even though you had to leave me you'll still be in my heart you'll always be real close even though we're far apart

while you're in heaven, please watch over me and help me as I grow you have taught me so much but there is still so much more to know
