Born July 5, 1946 in Clare, MI, to Manuel and Eusebia (Reina) Cortez Jr., passed away November 6, 2011 at the age of 65. She was preceded in death by her mother, Eusebia; brother, Enrique Cortez; and her sister, Julie Salazar. Surviving are her daughters, Tina J. Lopez, Sarah A. Lopez and Antoinette Lopez; sons, Pedro V. Lopez Jr. and Angelo Lopez; brother, Jimmy Cortez; sisters, Margaret Navarro, Lupe Gonzalez and Olga Flores; aunt, Francisca Cortez; cousin, Consuelo Cortez; 19 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling up north, camping and being in the outdoors. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Friday, November 11, 2011 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
