Joyce Joan Loughin

Age 83, our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away at her home on June 7, 2015. Born December 6, 1931 in Ionia, MI. Joyce graduated from St. Peter & Paul High School. She enjoyed traveling and sightseeing. She was a member of St. Therese Church.

Surviving are her daughter, Deborah J. (Brett) Meyers; son, Michael B. (Loretta Lahti) Loughin; 10 grandchildren, Shawn, Shannon, Douglas Jr., Chelsea, Chandralyn, Nicole, Brandon, and Cadence Loughin, Melissa Bankus, and Tyler Meyers; 7 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband Richard G in 1978; 2 sons, Douglas P. and Richard J. both in 2003; parents, John & Hazel (Pierce) Wieczorek; and her 7 brothers and sisters; her special friend, Harold Capen.

Visitation is from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 10, with the Funeral Liturgy 11:00 A.M. Thursday, June 11, 2015, in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing with Fr. John Fain presiding. Rite of committal will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Contributions may be made to St. Therese Church in memory of Joyce.
