

Juanita Lopez-Garcia, 68, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 8, 2016 in Lansing, Michigan. She was born on February 16, 1948 to Maximo and Lucia (Dimas) Lopez in Lansing, Michigan. She worked for many years for the City of Lansing as a secretary, but she was most known for her love of Bingo and the trips she loved to take to the casinos with her family. She loved dolphins, elephants, and owls, and she enjoyed attending her church, The Bread House, in Lansing. She loved to travel all over the country and the world with her husband.
She was preceded in death by her father, her brothers, John and Pedro Lopez, and her son, Michael Trevino.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Leonardo Garcia; her sons, Jesse (Dianna) Trevino, John (Laura) Trevino, Nicholas (Eunice) Trevino, Justin (Stacey) Trevino; her daughters, Corina Lopez, Sabrina Lopez, and Mersedes Lopez; her many grandchildren; and her many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 11:00am at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI 48912, with Pastor Victor A. Trevino officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
