

Judith Ann Buonodono Bartell, a beloved mother, wife, sister and friend, passed away on November 11, 2025. Born on August 17, 1948, in Lansing, Michigan to the late Noel Buonodono and Bonna Bayhan. She graduated from Waverly High School in 1966 and lived most of her life in the greater Lansing area.
Joseph and Judy Bartell were married in 1970. They raised two sons, the late Brian Bartell and Michael Bartell. Judy worked for 35 years for the State of Michigan, Supreme Court Administrative office. She loved spending time with family, growing flowers, especially roses, and going to Silver Lake.
Judy is survived by her son, Michael (Angela); her grandchildren and great grandchildren, Jason (Autumn Caley), Liliana, Amelia, Jacob (Kirsten), Alejandro, Cecilia, Gabriel; her brothers, Michael, Craig, Daniel (Sonia), Jeffrey, Carl; her nieces and nephews; Anthony (Amber), Megan (Nick), Heather, Robert (Mikala), Janna (Tommy), Jessica (Brittani), Leah (Lucas) and many great nieces and nephews. Judy also leaves behind her beloved cousins. She lives on in all of our memories and will be dearly missed.
As per her wishes a Memorial Gathering will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025, 11am – 2 pm at EagleMonk Pub and Brewery, 4906 W. Mt. Hope Hwy. Lansing, 48917. Please stop in and visit with the family. A light lunch will be served.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the education fund for her grandchildren, to be collected at her memorial gathering or mail to Gorsline Runciman Tiffany Chapel, 3232 W. Saginaw St. Lansing, Michigan 48917. Made out to Michael Bartell.
