Age 99, of Lake Worth, Florida and former resident of Lansing, MI passed away January 10, 2017. Julia was born June 13, 1917 in Lansing, MI the daughter of Michel & Mary Van Welsenaere.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 71 years, Max; sons, Robert and Ronald; and granddaughter, Lisa; brother, Harry; sister, Clementine. She is survived by her loving children, Penny Sparks, Sue (Frank) Fuentes, Harold (Marlene) Glass, and Donald Glass; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; sister Mary Jane Disbrow (Louie), and several nieces and nephews.

Julia was a homemaker, and enjoyed sports, tennis, golfing, and playing bridge. She was a member of St. Gerard Church, Lansing, and Sacred Heart, Lake Worth, FL.

Visitation will be from 10:00 to 12:00 noon Thursday with Julia's life being celebrated and eulogized at 12:00 noon Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing, with Deacon Jim Corder officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit the guest book at www.tiffanyfuneralhome.com.
