Julia Lonier

Lansing

Age 94, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 3, 2010. Mrs. Lonier was born in Fowlerville, MI to Charles & Tressa (Foldenauer) Doherr on July 12, 1916. She married Lewis Lonier on June 25, 1938. Mrs. Lonier was a past charter member of St. Therese Catholic Church and a member of the 3rd Order of St. Francis. Surviving are her children, Charles (Rosella) Lonier, Catherine (Robert) Fedewa, Theresa (William) Hankins, Harold (Linda) Lonier, Thomas Robert Lonier, and Margaret (Richard) Toomey; 13 Grandchildren and 9 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis and sister, Katherine Trierweiler.

Visitation is from 2-4, 6-8 P.M. Tuesday (today) with a Rosary service at 7:00 P.M. in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing. Funeral Liturgy is 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 6, at St. Gerard Catholic Church, 4437 W. Willow, Lansing with Fr. John P. Klein and Fr. Jeffrey Njus presiding. View will be from 10 to 11 A.M. Wednesday at church. Rite of committal St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
