June Ann West

June Ann West (Cross), age 84 of Lansing, passed away peacefully at home, April 6, 2016. She was born on August 1, 1931, in Lansing MI to Ollie and Lucille (Clarke) Cross and in June of 1953 she married Harry West. June delivered eye glasses and performed office work for Wallace Opticians and worked as a telephone operator for Bell Telephone. She was a lifelong resident of Lansing Michigan. June enjoyed gardening, baking, cooking, sewing, crocheting, traveling and spending time at the family cottage. June had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed sharing humorous family stories and spending time with her relatives. She will be missed by all who knew her. June is survived by her loving husband of sixty three years, Harry; daughter, Debra (Les) Masters; son, Randy (Aida) West; brother, Duane Cross; 2 sisters, Barbara (Carver) Barnes and Mary Bolton; sister in-law, Barbara Cross; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held on April 14, 2016, 4:00 p.m., at the Woodhull Township Hall, 7315 W. Beard Rd., Shaftsburg, MI 48882.
