Dear Kirby,

I remember how sweet your mother was to me when you lived in Mason. She always welcomed me kindly into your home.  Seeing pictures of her brought back fond memories. 

My prayers are with you as you say goodbye to your mom. I know that she will be missed by your sister and you. There is comfort in the knowledge that your mom is with Jesus now.

Kirby and Family

June was a good friend of mine for many years. We worked together at Pregnancy Services in East Lansing. She helped counsel young pregnant women/new moms and was so good at it! She was kind and such a good listener. 

In later years, June and I would talk about heaven. She told me she was really looking forward to being with Jesus. We had some very special conversations. We also shared our love for Israel and God's chosen people. 

I wish I would have visited her more often, but she will always have a special place in my heart. She was the sweetest, kindest, most generous woman of God. I miss her already as I know you do too.

God bless you all as you move through the next few weeks and months. I pray you feel the loving arms of Jesus wrapped around you. That you feel His comfort and security that June is in heaven with Him.

Dear Sally and Kirby,
     I am sorry for your loss and mine. Your mother was a fascinating person to listen to.  I enjoyed hearing her stories of life in World War 2 in England and how her mother made shortbread.  She was a "mother" figure for me as she shared Biblical wisdom from her many years of Godly living.  I will treasure the whimsical notes she sent to my husband and I and the many Sunday lunches we shared with her and Cynthia in the MSU dormitories.  She was a jewel and memories of her bring a smile to my heart as I hope they do yours.  Sincerely, Cheryl Parr
