Karen Sue Dow

Surrounded by her family, Karen Sue Dow passed peacefully on March, 13, 2022. Born to John and Mary Lou Premoe on March 12, 1955 in Lansing, MI. Karen was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Doug; and Mother-in-Law, Dorothy. She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Wesley Dow; children, Scott (Shanda) Dow, Leslie (Trent) Canniff, and Amy (Jeremy) Benedict; grandchildren, JR., AJ, Donovan, Makayla, Harper, and Ada; brother, Paul (Debi) Premoe; and sister, Pam (Terry) Carr.

Karen loved to cook. Her favorite thing to do was to try new recipes with Wes as the ever willing taste tester. She loved taking trips up north. Her favorite place to visit being Mackinaw City. Karen loved her calico cat, Zoe. She had many calico cats she loved over the years. Karen immensely enjoyed her grandchildren. She spent every moment she could watching them triumph in sports and the arts. Her family meant everything to her.

A Celebration of Life service be held on Saturday March 19th at 3pm at Community of Christ Church 1514 W. Miller Rd, Lansing, MI 48911. The family will receive visitors for an hour prior to the service with a dinner following the service. This is an in person event only, the family asks that if you are experiencing any illnesses to please refrain from attending the service, the church has a mandatory mask mandate in place.
