Karen was born February 3rd, 1966, in Lansing, Michigan, the daughter of Billy and Dorothy Goedert. She married John "Bill" Thurman on December 8th, 2000, in Manistee, Michigan.
Karen is survived by her children, Richard (Heather) Edwards, Tonya Edwards, John Thurman, Marcella Thurman, and Rodney Pasch; grandchildren, Alana, Makia, Alexa, Elizabeth, Mae, Kaiden, Evan, and Gage.
Karen was preceded in death by her husband, John Thurman; father, Billy Goedert; daughter, Jessica Edwards; grandson, James Thurman; and brother, David Goedert.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
