My thoughts are with each of you in Kaye's family.  I cannot imagine how much you'll miss her.  What a kind a loving lady she has been to so many, I imagine especially to her family.  She will be missed by all for her kindnesses and helpfulness. Among the many times she helped others, I'll not forget how she and Chuck opened their home to Jessica for months.  You have both been such a blessing to others.

I remember Kaye and Chuck had my husband and I over for dinner when we first started going to South. Kaye was alway wonderful to talk to on the phone and very helpful. When the second cousin Wood kids came to pick cherries.  Kaye was the only girl to play and hang around with.  As we got older and I moved to Ludington, I was happy to get to know her again.  She was always so kind and loving--just like her mother.  They must be having a great time in heaven--It just sad here on earth because she will be missed.     Dianne (May) Nasson

Dear Chuck, Len, and family,

I'm another of those who grew up with Kaye in and near Hart. Since the Rickards were our cousins on our Mom's and their Dad's side and you-all (Len) were their cousins on your Moms' side, it was pretty much like being family, ourselves. That's to say nothing of the time we spent together at Willson school the years your Mom taught there, and the three-times-a-week (or more) meetings at West Golden Church, until we moved away.

Anyway, Kaye was a leader, I remember, especially in Sunday School and youth group, in various Sunday School contests, etc. And as others have mentioned already, she was a kind person, giving and helpful to everyone.

May God's constant presence be with you all, today and in the weeks ahead. We will miss her here below, but when the heavenly city descends to earth, and God takes up eternal residence with God's people, we shall see her again, and will all be about (to quote C. S. Lewis) "the serious business of heaven, which is joy."

I was a high school classmate of Kaye's.  I have wonderful memories of her at school and having fun at Silver Lake.  She will be sadly missed.
