

Keith A. Diener, 82, of Jackson, formerly of Lansing, died June 2, 2011. Mr. Diener was born February 26, 1929 to Arnold and Thelma (Crankshaw) Diener. Mr. Diener was an avid hunter, fisherman and successful moosehunter. He enjoyed taking many fishing trips to Canada. He was also a jewelry maker involved in lapidary. Keith retired from Douglas Steel after 37 years of service. He cherished his family and was preceded in death by his wife, Darline in 2009, son Kimm Diener, sister Betty Boersma and nephew Ron Shipman. Mr. Diener is survived by loving daughter, Lu Ann (Joel) Hammond, daughter-in-law Nancy Stephens, grandchildren Lisa Neino, and Jason Hammond, 3 great grandchildren Brennan, Andrew and Chaz Neino, nieces Carol (Bill) Rowell, Joyce (Alan) Elyea, numerous other nieces and nephews; 2 sisters Iris Goff, Fern (Leo) Marczynski; sister-in-law Gwen (Roy) Shipman. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 900 E. Michigan Avenue, Lansing with visitation on Tuesday, 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Entombment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Lansing. Memorial contributions may be made to Paws with a Cause, 4646 S. Division, Wayland, MI 49348 .
