Kelli Marie Ruthruff

Kelli Marie Ruthruff, age 55 passed peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, June 8, 2025. She was born May 31, 1970 in Lansing. She grew up in Grand Ledge, graduating from Grand Ledge High School. On September 12, 1992 she married Don Ruthruff II.

Kelli was very talented at quilting and loved animals. She worked as a manager at Kean's in Mason for many years. She owned and operated Moon House Quilting, named after the Moon House that her father was born in, now located at Woldumar Nature Center. Kelli loved her family. One of her greatest joys was taking cruises, especially to Grand Turk.

Surviving are her husband, Don Ruthruff II; children, Brandon and Meg Ruthruff; mother, Kathy Chapman; sister, Kim (Pratap) Rajadhyaksha; parents-in-law, Don Sr and Vinn Ruthruff; brother-in-law, Mike (Lana) Ruthruff; several nieces, and great-nieces and nephews; her Scotty, Watson and cats, Charlie, Binx, and Jaxs. She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Chapman.

According to her wishes, cremation will take place and Kelli will be taken to her happy place, the ocean.
