Ken was born and raised in Lansing, MI and graduated from Sexton High School. He married the love of his life, Beverly, on November 18, 1967. Together, they raised their family in Lansing, creating a home filled with love and laughter.
Ken worked at General Motors for over 30 years, retiring after 30 and a half years of dedicated service. Never one to sit idle, he spent his retirement years giving back to his church and community. A faithful member of New Life Assembly of God Church in Grand Ledge since 2002, Ken volunteered as a custodian and served faithfully as a deacon, always lending a helping hand and a kind word.
He had a deep love for life’s simple pleasures—watching classic Westerns, cheering for MSU and Detroit teams, and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren, who were the light of his life.
Ken is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Beverly; children: Bryan (Sue), Ted (Michelle) and Tamra (Rob-roy); seven grandchildren: Rodney, Becca, Ryan, Danielle, Reagan, Alex and Caleb; 11 great grandchildren; and siblings Kathy and Ron. He was preceded in death by his son Jason; and brother Rex.
A funeral service for Ken will be held Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 11:00AM with a visitation one hour prior at Gorsline-Runciman Tiffany Chapel 3232 W. Saginaw St. Lansing, MI 48917. Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
