Kenneth Marshall Rudick

Kenneth Marshall Rudick, 83, of Lansing, Michigan entered his eternal rest on July 27, 2026. He was born on December 18, 1942 to Walter and Catherine Rudick in Muskegon, Michigan. He was baptized on January 17, 1943 and confirmed on March 25,1956 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Muskegon, Michigan. Ken married Nancy (Domont) on October 17,1964.

They spent their married life in Lansing MI where they raised 4 children. He was a lifelong Lutheran and a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church for 20 years. Ken worked for the State of Michigan in Bridge Design as a Draftsman for 35+ years. After his retirement, Ken and Nancy traveled around the country visiting many national parks. Their favorite trip was driving the famous Route 66 from Illinois to California. Ken enjoyed planting and growing his backyard garden. He also had a love for trains which he enjoyed sharing with his grandchildren. Family was important to Ken and he enjoyed talking about and bragging about his family.

Ken is survived by his brothers Bryan (Beth) Rudick (MI) and Ray (Margo) Rudick (AZ), daughters Annette Rudick (MI) and Pam Rudick (IL), son Chuck (Patti) Rudick (IN), son-in-law Rev. Kurt (Kim) Ziemann (OH), grandchildren Zach (Madie) Ziemann (WI), Katie (Jake) Brandt (WI), Jeremy Ziemann (OH), Tim Ziemann (OH), and Zeke Ziemann (OH), great grandchildren Hazel, Judah and Asher. He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Catherine Rudick, wife Nancy Rudick, brother Richard Rudick, and daughter Deb Ziemann.

The visitation and funeral service will be held on Friday, August 7, 2026, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 7000 W Saginaw Hwy, Lansing, MI 48917. Rev. Dr. Kurt Ziemann will officiate. The family will gather at church to greet friends at 9:30 am until the funeral services at 10:30 am.

The committal prayers will immediately follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens, 2188 Remembrance Drive, Muskegon, MI 49442.
