Kenneth Paul Wiles

Age 90, was called home to his Lord on October 6, 2014. Born March 22, 1924 in Hamilton Twp., VanBuren Co., MI the son of Oliver & Beatrice Wiles. Ken entered the U.S. Army in 1945 during WWII and served in occupied Japan, Germany, and Korea, until retiring in 1965. He join the Michigan Farm Buearu in the information division. He was a life member of the V.F.W. Post #701, the F.F.A.; the American Legion. He was a long time member and former church administrator at Bethel Baptist Church.

Surviving are his daughter, Sandra (Wayne) Alfano; 2 sons, Kenneth (Marge) Wiles, and Brian Wiles; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Ken was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Jane in 2003; son, Arthur in 1984; and his brother, Lowell.

Visitation is from 2-4, 6-8 P.M. Friday with services 10:30 A.M. Saturday, October 11, in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing with Rev. James E. Robinson officiating. Military Honors by Morley Oates V.F.W. Post #701. Interment will be 2:30 P.M.at Hamilton Cemetery in VanBuren Co. Contributions may be made to the Bethel Baptist Church in memory of Ken.
