Kevin Wayne Morrison

Wayne was employed with the Lansing State Journal for over 40 years and then worked for the YMCA from which he retired. His hobbies were NASCAR, attending races at Spartan Speedway every Friday night and his favorite sports team was the MSU Spartans, "Go Green, Go White".

He is survived by daughter, Lisa Morrison (Donald Dikeman) of Lansing, MI; granddaughter, Savahnah Morrison (Jacob Troutt) of Lansing, MI; grandson, David Dikeman of Lansing, MI; great-granddaughter, Judith Troutt of Lansing, MI; brother, Steven Morrison of Lansing, MI; nephew, Terry Leonard, Jr.; niece, Loretta Leonard of Detroit, MI; four great nephews, three great nieces, one great-great nephew, one-great-great niece; Robin Bray of Lansing, MI; Kimberly Martinez of Ohio, Corey Rice of Ohio, Brittany Lemmon of Lansing, Steven Freemire of Okemos, Madison Velasco of Ohio and Mikayla Martinez of Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his father, Francis Morrison; mother, Ilene "Grandma Pudgy" Morrison; sister, Carla Shutes Morrison and nephew, Zachary Morrison.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
