I became part of the Sulzman family over 29 years ago. During that time, Kirk touched many lives with his desire to teach and help other achieve their highest capabilities. He spent long nights away from his family dedicating his life towards this long life goal. I was always proud to talk to others about his accomplishments. I never thought of Kirk as a brother-n-law but as my brother. Today is very heartbreaking for all of us. Sue thank you for giving him four beautiful boys to live out his legacy. Brett, Ryan, Patrick and Jacob please alway remember the little quirks that made him so special. Veraine (mom) he was loved by all and had a purpose for being here. Ken and Jeff even though you guys didn't get together as oftern as you wanted there was always hunting season that you counted on. We will sadly miss you!! Taken to soon from all of us. I believe you are now with Henry (dad) gone fishing.

With all my love, Karen Sulzman (Sister-n-Law)

Dear Sue and boys,
I'm still in shock over the death of your husband and father. I hope you find comfort in knowing that there are several people who are thinking and praying for you. Kirk had a special way of working with and talking to people and was a great asset to many. He will never be forgotten. May God bless you during this difficult time and always.

Dear Sue and family:
So sad to hear of your loss of husband, father, son and cherished friend. No one can replace him especially as husband and father; but I pray that your special memories of him will bring you comfort and guide you through the weeks and months ahead. I remember Kirk's sense of humor when he was in a summer institute class with me--he made an otherwise boring class enjoyable!
Sue--I miss you as principal and friend and I will be praying for all of you and thinking of you as I already have since you left Elmhurst & Lansing SD. Kay, Teacher--ECSE--Riddle Elem.
