I am echoing many others when I say that to me, LaRae was every color of the rainbow--Vibrant, beautiful, and bright. From our days at LWOC to Eastern High School, she had such a radiance about her. I am glad we stayed in touch and that she got to meet my son. Her smile, her hugs and her physical presence will be so deeply missed. To Momma Karen, Jamie and the rest of the family, you will continue to be in my prayers.

LaRae, I will see you later. ❤️

LaRae was a gift to all who knew her especially the children who were in her care. Her light was so bright and her energy so strong. I always enjoyed when she came to visit Karen at University Apartments/Hall Assignments. From the minute she walked in the door, you knew she was there! Karen, Jaimie, Brooklyn and all of her family, our heartfelt condolences.

I had the honor of being LaRae’s resident assistant/advisor at MSU. It was such a delight to witness her Positive energy and vibrant spirit. She enhanced the college experience for all those around her, and enriched my own growth as a resident assistant.
I remember the day she moved in to her dorm during her freshman year with her roommate. They appear to be polar opposites, yet completely complemented one another. I was surprised at the time to know that they were high school Besties and assumed the friendship would suffer and not last beyond the first semester. However those ladies proved me wrong and they turned out to be a very dynamic pair. Brandie

LaRae has and always will hold a special place in all of our hearts. I'm grateful that God allowed our paths to cross and that she shared unyielding and unwavering love for others with our family. LaRae was a very special woman. To know her, you wouldn’t know her illnesses by her time spent with you. Rather, you’d know a soul in this time that was always looking forward to helping someone enjoy life - by celebrating a birthday or holiday of some kind. And just being her cheerful self is why the children loved spending time with her. My Prayer is that LaRae enjoys peace for she has earned it.
I love you LaRae. I’ll miss you sharing your joy with us here in this place.
