She is survived by a daughter, Durinda (Joe), and a son, Kevin, two grandchildren, Autumn and Tyler, three great-grandchildren, Austin, Zach, and Isabella, and many nieces and nephews.
Bonnie worked as a nurse for 50 years and retired from Hospice of Lansing in 2009. She was a member in good standing at Grace Orthodox Presbyterian Church. Bonnie was a member of the Moose Lodge and the VFW Women's Auxiliary.
She is predeceased by husband, Kenneth Wayne Carey, son, Keith Lynn Carey, brother, James Sabin, and sister, Eleanor Braska.
A visitation for Bonnie will be held 11AM-12PM on Monday, July 10 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Lansing Chapel, 900 E. Michigan Ave. A funeral service will follow the visitation at the funeral home. The family invites all to gather for a luncheon after the funeral at Grace Orthodox Presbyterian Church, 1301 Wieland Rd., Lansing.
Memorial contributions in Bonnie's memory may be made to Hospice of Lansing.
